Jane’s Peach Frozen Custard Recipe

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Chill time: 4-24 hours

Churn time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 6 Egg Yolks

  • 1 pint Heavy Whipping Cream

  • 2-3 lbs Peaches (peeled)

  • 1 cup Sugar

  • 1 tbs Cinnamon

Recipe:

De-skin your peaches and separate from the pits. Chop peaches down to bite size pieces. Prepare your custard on the stove by beating yolks and adding to a saucepan. Combine on low heat with sugar and about an ounce of heavy whipping cream stirring constantly to keep the eggs from breaking. As soon as your custard is done, combine with peaches and chill, covered in the fridge from 4 to 24 hours. Once your custard has been chilled, churn in your favorite ice cream maker for 30 minutes. I’m currently using this Kitchen Aid bowl accessory. Chill 3 hours and serve topped with sprinkles of cinnamon.
